African Victoire! Afskop..

Welkom aan almal wat kom kyk wat op ons blog aangaan! Die idee is om vir almal agtergrond te gee van die beplande motorfiets-toer en op hoogte te hou van reëlings en waar ons vorder. Ons vertrek die 22ste Maart 2010 op ons ysterperde vir 15dae van sorglose avontuur uit die beskawing! Kronkelende grondpaaie tussen bergpasse deur, forel vang in die riviere van Lesotho, onder die sterrehemel slaap, oor die grasheuwels van Transkei, langs die ooskus en soveel meer. Welcome to all who find themselves having a peek into our world! The idea is to provide some background about our planned motorcycle trip and to keep those interested updated regarding our progress into the wild. We will depart 22 March 2010 on our iron horses for 15 days of epic adventure, removed from civilization! Winding gravel roads, over mountain passes, catching trout in the Maluti mountains, nights under open heavens, the grassy hills of the Transkei and down the East and South coasts. Viva! the loooong trip to Bloem...


The moment has come! after exactly one year since the first talks of this trip, we arive at the station in Cape Town to load our
bikes
on the train and head to Bloem to start our journey into Lesotho. It has been quite a stressfull day as we ran around like true first timers to tie all the loose ends. Our bikes are safely strapped onto the train, we have found our seats, and now... We enjoy music made by the train wheels and process the fact that the time has come!

    Hi julle, Hoop dis nog elke oomblik lekkerder as die vorige ene. Pieter, ons dink baie aan jou en stilletjies hoop ek dat ek ook so 'n "toertjie" kan meemaak iewers. Geniet elke oomblik. Seën vir julle! Marietjie

    Genugtig! Waar is die avonturiers? Kom manne, gesels met ons, vertel ons julle stofpad stories ....

    Ja, ons wag al in spanning om te hoor hoe vorder die trip - of is die Internet Cafe's bietjie skaars in die Lesotho hooglande!
